Situated in a truly stunning location with breathtaking uninterrupted views of St Ives Bay and a magnificent three miles of golden sands that stretch to Godrevy Lighthouse, this superb beach alone provides a wonderful location for family holidays. Hayle itself still has a working port & harbour for the local fishing boats, with the upper reaches of the estuary providing an official RSPB Reserve and winter home for countless feathered migrants. On the outskirts of Hayle is Paradise Wildlife Sanctuary home of the World Parrot Trust. Learn to dive with PADI qualified instructors and surf the Atlantic breakers at Gwithian Beach. Golfers will be spoilt for choice at one of several 9 or 18 hole courses in the area.

Accommodation

Mermaid is a single storey terraced bungalow adjoining Dolphin, enjoying views across the estuary and sea to the golf course and Porthkidney sands. . The entrance hall leads to a well equipped open plan kitchen/ diner. This in turn leads to the cosy lounge with comfortable seating. There are two bedrooms, a double and twin bedded room both with en-suite showers, toilet& whb. For additional sleeping a put u up bed for occasional use.Outside there is a sunny terrace with seating and access to the coast path leading to the beach.

3 TV’s DVD & hi-fi.Electric oven/hob Microwave. Fridge/Freezer. Washing machine & tumble dryer. Dishwasher. The property is heated throughout and the inclusive price includes bed linen, towels and electricity. There is reserved parking for 2 cars, with local pub and shop within easy walking distance (summer season only). Sofa bed available on request. Travel cot /highchair available on request. Sunday changeover. £100 damage deposit on booking but refundable after a satisfactory inspection on departure. One small pet welcome out of season. Rental code 17 for w/c 24/5/08 to and including w/c 04/10/08 Rental code 14 for all other weeks
